About Us

ConnectSAT Aerospace, established in France in 2020, initially faced challenges in securing funding. To overcome these obstacles, the company restructured and relocated its headquarters to California, USA, while maintaining its research and development activities in France, particularly in laser optics. This strategic move has facilitated collaborations with leading research laboratories worldwide, including those in Germany, Switzerland and Canada. Notably, in 2023, ConnectSAT signed an agreement with Skyroot Aerospace to advance its OSIRIS satellite constellation project, aiming to enhance connectivity and natural resource management in the Global South. Looking ahead, ConnectSAT plans to launch its first entirely in-house built satellite in 2025, seeking to establish heritage for its subsystems and payloads for the future OSIRIS constellation. Additionally, ConnectSAT is involved in developing various technologies for deep space exploration activities, contributing to advancements in space research and exploration.
